Dublin City spends €750,000 cleaning graffiti in 2006

Dublin City Officials are set to spend €750,000 this year cleaning up graffiti around the city. The cost of removing the paintings has soared from just €80,000 in 2001.

As part of the plan, the Council is proposing to provide specifically designated graffiti walls, where artists can express themselves in a structured environment.
